The participants were assigned to develop a winery project with boutique hotel and spa functions and to visualise it in UnrealEngine4 software created for computer game designers rather than for architects. The present-day IT community realises that computer games are slowly but steadily relegating cinema to the background. The best special effect designers and film directors are quitting Hollywood to settle in Silicone Valley. Today, it is the most promising and absolutely unique technology in the visualisation area. This technology promises to enable architects to run inside their projects similarly
to computer games (with the same impressive graphics and special effects).
Architects can take advantage of this technology to present their projects and create a WOW effect. Customers can use this solution to increase sales. For example, the developer has an attraction installed in the middle of its sales office. The attraction has an apartment model downloaded and allows a buyer using virtual reality glasses to go about his or her future apartment. A gadget (for example, Google Cardboard) is optionally given to buyers for viewing a virtual picture via a smartphone which carries the developer’s company logo and the QR code allowing buyers to download the application with a 3D panorama of their apartment / room / window view, etc.

This is a story about a boutique hotel built on a wine cellar that was laid beneath the vineyard back in the Middle Ages. The hill storage protected wine against sunlight and temperature differences. We interbred present-day architectural solutions with medieval traditions and combined the functions of a boutique hotel, a day spa and a commercial wine cellar.
As we are completely focused on spa services and exclusive hotel service, our hotel has no in-home wine production. To meet every taste of our clients, we buy high quality wines from our neighbours. Our suppliers are families who have owned vineyards for many centuries and earned recognition among wine lovers worldwide...
