A significant amount of the mall (about 300 thousand square meters) required the creation of a unified concept for the solutions of interior spaces of both entrance groups from the Kiev Highway and metro station and shopping galleries, food court, recreation and game areas. The very name of the shopping mall “Salaris" meaning “sunny” in Latin gave a clue on how to arrange the interior. The theme of the sun, heavenly hosts, endless heavenly spaces and stars can be traced throughout the interior of the facilities.

In most of the public areas, the ceilings and the communications located thereunder are not built in, but painted dark with LED lights embedded at different levels, creating the illusion of a starry sky. Wooden lamellas, located in different directions, resemble the divergent rays of the sun, and the active use of wood texture in the elements of ceramic and granite coating, handrails and HPL-panels on the walls create a feeling of coziness and man-madeness. To achieve the same effect, the food court areas are enclosed by boxes with planted plants.
The customer also expressed a wish to archive best possible practicality in future operation and optimization of construction costs, thus requiring architects to use witty, economical, but at the same time effective techniques. Light in the building is one of such features: in addition to LEDs and glowing lamellas in multi-public spaces, "light turbines" are used resembling elements of spacecraft or craters of planets, and at the same time solved in the simplest ways. Vertical chandeliers hanging from the ceiling create a glimmering effect of the Milky Way.
Resemblance with the solar system is also manifested in the organization of public spaces for recreation and games where bright colors - yellow, orange, golden - are used. However, large surfaces are solved in soft colors: the floors are made of granite with a slight gradient stretching from the window area to the center of the galleries.
