PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A new shopping and entertainment center on Zelenodolskaya Street in Kuzminki, next to the metro station of the same name, will appear on the site of the former branch of the Moskva department store, which has lost its functional relevance due to the intensive development of the area. The area of the new shopping center, designed by APEX team, is almost 70,000 m2, with an underground floor for parking and 4 above-ground floors accommodating shops, supermarkets, food court areas, cinemas, entertainment centers and offices.

Facade solutions developed by the Dutch bureau C Concept Design and adapted by our team include sandwich panels on a metal frame with perforated metal panels and volumetric facade cassettes with a “scales” texture that change color and texture depending on the lighting (when sunlight hits the panels). The color solution, the plasticity of the facades, the accents in the form of large glazing planes and clearly defined central entrances - all this creates a new public space that combines the functions topical to the area: social, recreational, entertainment and retail.
