An educational cluster of three similar schools will be built at the junction of two new microdistricts built by the same customer. Their total floorspace approximates 1,000,000 sq. m. Accordingly, the schools were designed as quite large institutions, each intended for 1,050 students. The project was prepared by the customer’s architects, while the specialists of APEX reviewed the detailed documentation to optimise some planning solutions (functional zoning, internal links).
The main entrance stands out due to its entrance roof overhang resting on slant columns. There is an elementary school block on one side of the entrance and classrooms for homekeeping and other practical subjects — on the other one. The ground floor also accommodates a café, an assembly hall block and a sports area with several gyms.

Most of the classrooms are located at higher levels. The facades’ colour solution conforms to the neighbouring residential development. Ceramic granite will be employed for surface finish, using the suspended facade technology. Simple as it may seem, the project has quite a sophisticated structural scheme. In particular, combined floor decks comprise cast-in-situ, prefabricated slabs with truss covered with profiled metal sheets, and prefabricated beam and girder types.
