Development of the metro in the Moscow satellite town of Kotelniki boosted the construction of residential neighbourhoods in this district. The architecture of the high-rise residential complex comprising 5 buildings of 30 and 17 storeys combines the European approach to facade design offered by the Dutch bureau AHR and the original planning and design solutions developed by APEX and allowing future residents to be provided with the maximum level of comfort.

The current Moscow housing requirements call for courtyards free from vehicles, wide variability of apartment layouts and developed public infrastructure on ground floors.
A number of original techniques used in facade design impart special lightness and expressiveness to the large complex. The combination of white and grey wall colours structures the volumes of the buildings and sets a single rhythm meant to be perceived from a distance; the module relief grid with variable completion, glazed recessed balconies and French balconies forms a distinctive image perceived from near points. The colour accents delicately added to the basic white-gray theme give the house appearance a positive nature.
The group of buildings is set with regard to solar exposure of dwelling apartments and premises of the existing housing development and public buildings. The courtyard space provides no access to private vehicles.
